Join us as a Landlord Liaison Officer and play a vital role in reducing homelessness across Lancaster. By supporting landlords and tenants, you’ll help create sustainable tenancies and prevent evictions through early intervention and expert mediation. Your work will directly impact the community by ensuring everyone has a safe and secure home.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll build strong relationships with landlords and housing providers, identifying tenants at risk and offering timely support. Acting as a mediator, you’ll resolve disputes to sustain tenancies and advise on financial assistance schemes. Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, you’ll ensure compliance with housing laws, including the Renters’ Rights Act, and provide training to landlords on best practices.

You’ll Fit Right In If…
You have a solid understanding of housing and homelessness legislation and experience working with vulnerable households. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills help you mediate effectively in challenging situations.
