Join Lancaster City Council as an Apprentice Plasterer/Tiler and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing council housing across the district. Your skilled work will help create safer, more comfortable homes for our community, while supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. This apprenticeship opportunity offers a pathway to a Level 2 qualification and a permanent role upon successful completion.

What You’ll Be Doing.

You will carry out plastering and tiling tasks on a variety of maintenance projects, including responsive repairs, void management, and planned works. Using modern reporting systems, you’ll keep track of your work and ensure van stock is well maintained. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to assist with other maintenance duties.

Throughout, you’ll maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring positive interactions with tenants and the public.
You’ll Fit Right In If… You’re committed to high standards, eager to learn new skills, and comfortable working in tenanted properties and pass a basic DBS check.
