Join us as a Community Projects Officer and play a vital role in delivering the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, supporting children and families during key holiday periods. You’ll contribute to enhancing community health and wellbeing by working closely with partners and helping shape the Healthy Communities Strategy. Your work will ensure safeguarding and high-quality services that make a real difference across Lancaster.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage the day-to-day running of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, acting as the main contact for Lancaster City Council and liaising with delivery partners. Your responsibilities include contract administration, monitoring project performance, conducting quality assurance checks, and leading safeguarding efforts. You’ll also design communications to raise awareness, identify development opportunities, and support community and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

You have experience in grant funding and coordinating programmes, with strong skills in multi-agency working and communication.
